You’ve been bamboozled & blatantly misled

All your convictions have been declared dead

It’s no surprise and it’s so lame

Using religion for power, that’s the lord’s name in vain

It’s a crying shame

What were you thinking? You made an anti-christ your christ

You wanted freedom, but you got it all half-priced

You keep staring at the sun

You’re blind, the world’s burning but you think you have won

It’s all in the frying pan

Arm your kids, let them out at night

         If the drag queens don’t get them, the public schools might

Hell or High water, the audacity ensues

Moral majority, I think you have it all confused

Christ is just a name

You only need god when you need someone to blame

God & the devil, it’s all the same

God, guns and glory

I pray you’re not a refugee

is that what your bible says?

is that what your mama read?
