House in Taos- Written by Brian Johanson, Lance Ruby and Cameron Collums
There’s a house in Taos up on a hill in New Mexico
In dark and shady confines where mycelium can grow
Their services are fixes of a slightly different kind
They say you may find god but you may also lose your mind
An atheist can walk in and profess that heaven’s real
With a to-go goodie bag that they can smell and feel
An agnostic might be proselytizing all over town
On a holy trip from god as he’s singing praises loud
Praise the lords, praise the wet shade
They’ll send you a pound of god after postage is paid
Praise the lords, praise the shit
It might stink like hell but there’s god in it
Praise the Lord (Praise the Lord), Praise the Lord (Praise the Lord) x3
Instrumental break for heavenly fathers
Their motto’s “god is everywhere, like germs and jesus”
You can seek it any silly way that you think you must
But if you need a little help from a psylocibin dream
Check out that little church in Taos it’s not what it seems
Praise the lords, praise the wet shade
They’ll send you a pound of god after postage is paid
Praise the lords, praise the shit
It might stink like hell but there’s god in it
Praise the Lord (Praise the Lord), Praise the Lord (Praise the Lord) x4
